Seattle and Portland Estonian dance groups began with immigrants to the US after WWII. Since that time, many Estonians and friends of Estonians have learned the traditional dances and enjoyed the music of these groups. These dancers have performed in Estonian several times as part of the enormous song and dance festival traditions in Estonia. They wear colorful costumes representing many different regions of Estonia. Dance teachers Caroli Leiman and Jana Sepp both learned to dance as young girls in Estonia. Now they share their experience with all who love to dance.
