Since 2012, SIDC has been promoting and sharing Irish music, dance and heritage throughout the Pacific Northwest. In our short history, our dancers have toured regionally, nationally, and internationally, charming audiences with our contemporary, challenging choreography. SIDC was formed upon the realization that mature, experienced Irish dancers lacked opportunities in the Pacific Northwest. Our vision is to share the art of Irish dance and music with the larger region, to encourage adult dancers to tackle technically demanding material, and to craft choreography that is relevant, exciting and accessible to all audiences.
