Nancy was born and raised in Mexico City, coming to the U.S when she was 17 years old. Currently, she is the Curator of Collections and Exhibits, for the upcoming Highline Heritage Museum. Her duties include preserving the stories of the Highline region through community engagement with programs and exhibits. She has been giving bilingual presentations around Washington state on community engagement promoting diversity with exhibits and collections care. She's served on multiple nonprofit heritage and cultural organizations boards and is part of the 4Culture Heritage advisory committee and the Washington Museum Association’s registrar’s to the rescue team.
