Leikarringe of Leif Erikson Lodge is a Traditional Norwegian folk dance group that began in Seattle, WA in 1960 and has been performing ever since. We welcome new members to our group that rehearses every Tuesday night at 7:30pm at Leif Erikson Lodge in Ballard. Our repertoire includes old time dances (gammeldanser), figure dances (turdanser ), songdances (sangdanser), and village dances (bygdedanser.) We have performed locally for many scandinavian festivals and also perform in local schoolsfor cultural events, in retirement homes, and for other Lodges’ special events and activities.
