Professor Hongduan Yang graduated from Beijing University. He excels in categories of Chinese painting in both flowers-and-birds and landscape as well as calligraphy. His artwork has won many top prizes, and has been displayed in both individual exhibitions and open exhibitions around the world. His work has often been selected as national gifts for diplomats traveling abroad and collected by museums, art institutes and embassies. His painting was also selected to participate in the program "the Eulogy of Peace-Space Tour for art in the Shenzhou VII spacecraft" to join the astronauts for an outer space tour.
