Alankrita means decorated. Our group is of three middle school moms who are software engineers by profession. All three are currently working fulltime and taking time out during weekends to practice for the events. We three learnt Indian classical dance form called Bharathanatyam as we grew up. Our passion for this dance form brought us together few years ago and we have been performing at Indian cultural events like the Anandamela, IAWW deepavali events. Our kids are also learning this art form for the last few years and Shreya Upadya and Viha Bhat will be performing as well.
